Argassi is a beach-and-base resort rather than a heavy sightseeing town. The Argassi Bridge is the local landmark, while the beach, boat trips, and short taxi rides to Zakynthos Town fill most itineraries.
For something more natural, head south toward the National Marine Park of Zakynthos and the turtle-nesting beaches of Laganas Bay, or climb inland toward Skopos for views over the southeast coast.
