Debrecen's sights cluster around two areas: the central squares around the Reformed Great Church, where Calvinist Hungary's intellectual heart still beats, and the Nagyerdő — the Great Forest — to the north, where the thermal baths, zoo, and amusement park have entertained locals for over a century. The Déri Museum is the city's cultural anchor; everything else can be wandered between on foot.
