Mezőkövesd is small, and most of what is worth seeing here is connected to Matyó folk culture — embroidery, painted houses, and the workshops that keep the tradition going. The old Hadas district is the heart of it, and a couple of hours spent walking the streets with a stop at the gallery covers the main sights.
