Killarney railway station is on the Mallow to Tralee line, with regular services to Cork (around 1 hour 45 minutes) and Dublin (around 3 hours 15 minutes via Mallow). Bus Éireann runs regular coach services to Killarney from Cork, Dublin, Limerick, and other major towns. The station is right in the town centre, a few minutes' walk from the main hotels.
Kerry Airport, near Farranfore, is about 15 km north of Killarney. It handles flights from Dublin, London, and a handful of other European cities. Cork Airport is larger and handles more international routes; the drive from Cork to Killarney takes about 90 minutes. If arriving by car, Killarney sits on the N22 road from Cork and the N70 that runs along the Ring of Kerry.
