San Giorgio is one of Salerno's finest Baroque churches, tucked into the historic centre a short walk from the cathedral. Its 18th-century interior is richly decorated, with paintings by Andrea Sabatini and relics connected to the Salerno martyrs Tecla, Archelaa, and Susanna.
It is not a long visit, but it is one of the best stops for seeing Salerno's religious art beyond the cathedral. Pair it with a wander along Via dei Mercanti.
