Sorrento's food is solid southern Italian — fresh pasta, seafood, good pizza, and the local lemons used in everything from sauces to desserts. The limoncello made here is the real thing; buy a bottle from a deli rather than a souvenir shop. The restaurants immediately around the Piazza Tasso are generally tourist-oriented and overpriced; walk a few streets away for better value.
