Ronco Scrivia sits on the valley floor where the road and rail lines converge, and its old bridge across the Scrivia is one of the more intact medieval structures in the valley. The town itself is a modest railway junction, but the bridge and the old centre are worth a short stop if you're passing through on the train or driving up from Genoa.
