Svevia

Tucked into the lanes of the Borgo Vecchio close to the castle, Svevia is the most consistently praised restaurant in Termoli — a small dining room with a focused fish menu and a short, well-chosen Molisan wine list. Reserve a few days in advance for dinner, especially in summer.

The brodetto alla termolese is the dish to order, served traditional-style in the copper pot it was cooked in. The crudo of local raw fish — gambero rosso, scampi, tuna — is also excellent. Mid-range prices for the quality; expect around €50 a head with wine.
