San Francesco Borgia is the former Jesuit church on Via dei Crociferi, an early-eighteenth-century building rebuilt after the 1693 earthquake. The facade is unusually tall and narrow, hemmed in by neighbouring buildings, and the interior is a single nave with carved wooden choir stalls and a heavily decorated apse.
The adjoining Collegio dei Gesuiti is one of the largest baroque civil buildings in Catania, now used as a fine arts academy.
