San Francesco d'Assisi all'Immacolata

San Francesco d'Assisi all'Immacolata is the Franciscan church on Piazza San Francesco, opposite the Bellini birthplace. The current building is mid-eighteenth century, rebuilt after the earthquake on the site of a thirteenth-century Franciscan foundation.

The interior holds the so-called Candelore di Sant'Agata when they are not on procession — eleven enormous decorated candelabra, between two and four metres tall and weighing up to a tonne, each carried by a different guild during the February festival.
