Odeon

Taormina's Odeon is a small Roman theatre built in the early imperial period, probably around 21 BCE. It sits close to Palazzo Corvaja and is easy to miss beside the town's bigger Greek Theatre, but the surviving stone seating gives a useful glimpse of Roman Taormina at street level.

You do not need long here. Treat it as a quick archaeological pause while walking the upper end of Corso Umberto, especially if you are interested in how much ancient fabric is tucked into the modern town.
