The most beautiful café on the Versilia coast and a listed national monument, the Gran Caffè Margherita is worth visiting at any time of day. Come for morning coffee and a cornetto and admire the Galileo Chini frescoes and tilework; come back at aperitivo hour for a Campari soda on the terrace while watching the promenade come to life. Prices are a little higher than the surrounding bars, but the setting more than justifies them.
