Getting There

Verona Villafranca Airport (VRN) is 12km southwest of the city. The Aerobus shuttle runs to Verona Porta Nuova railway station every 20 minutes; journey time around 20 minutes.

Verona Porta Nuova is the main rail hub, at the junction of the Milan–Venice line and the Brennero–Bologna line. Frequent fast trains serve Milan (1h15), Venice (1h10), and Bologna (1h15). The station is 1.2km from the Arena, walkable in 15 minutes or reachable by city bus.

By road, the A4 motorway (Milan–Venice) passes south of the city; exit Verona Sud for the centre. The A22 (Brennero–Modena) is the main Alpine route north. The centre is partly closed to traffic; parking is easier on the south bank.
