The Church of the Holy Saviour is a small medieval Serbian Orthodox church on the hillside beneath Prizren's fortress. Its damaged state is part of the present-day reality of the site, but the surviving stonework and position above the old town still make it a powerful stop.
Visit it as part of the climb toward Kalaja Fortress, where Prizren's layered religious and political history becomes visible in a compact area. The church should be approached respectfully: it is not just a ruin for photographs, but a sensitive monument in a city where heritage and identity remain closely entwined.
