Deboj Hamam is a remnant of Bitola's Ottoman urban life, a former bathhouse in the old bazaar area. Its divided plan and surviving architectural details point back to the period when the bazaar was one of the city's commercial and social centres.
The building has suffered over time, so this is not a pristine monument. It is still worth adding to a walk through the bazaar, where mosques, markets, and bathhouse remains make Bitola's Ottoman layer easier to read.
