Knežino Monastery is a mountain monastery complex west of Kičevo, with roots usually placed in the 11th or 12th century. Ruins on the site hint at the older monastery, while the newer church continues the dedication to Saint George.
The setting on Mount Bistra is part of the reason to go. It is a quiet religious stop with a long local memory, best combined with other Kičevo countryside sights rather than treated as a quick town-centre visit.
