Coffee is a serious matter in Radoviš, consumed slowly and often at the kafanas and modern espresso bars that line the streets near the main square. The evening korzo — the slow promenade that is the social engine of every Macedonian town — fills these places from late afternoon onward. Rakia (fruit brandy) and Macedonian wine are the evening drinks of choice.
