Gozo is reached by car ferry from Cirkewwa at the northern tip of Malta. The crossing takes around 25 minutes and ferries run frequently throughout the day and night, operated by Gozo Channel. There is no need to book in advance for foot passengers; cars may queue in peak summer season. Foot passengers can also reach Gozo via a fast ferry service from Valletta's Grand Harbour on a seasonal basis.
