The National Ethnographic and Natural History Museum is one of Chişinău's strongest museums, with collections that range from traditional dress and folk culture to natural history. Its palaeontology displays include a Deinotherium skeleton, a prehistoric relative of elephants.
The Islamic-inspired facade is also worth seeing from outside, especially in late-afternoon light.
