Soroca has a clutch of cafes around the central square where locals linger over coffee and Moldovan wine. The town's wine culture reflects the country at large — cheap, often excellent, and poured with generosity. Don't expect a cocktail menu; do expect a warm welcome and a very reasonable bill.
