A long arc of fine pebble and grey-gold sand backed by olive groves and macchia. The water shelves gently and the swimming is calm. In high summer the central section near Petrovac gets busy with day trippers, but walk ten minutes south and you will find empty space even in August.
The southern end of the beach is wilder, separated by a small stream that flows out of the marsh behind. A handful of beach bars and konobas (most seasonal) sell grilled fish, cold beer, and the local rakija. Bring water shoes — the pebbles are uneven in places.
