Buljarica is a small, low-key resort village on the coast south of Budva, about 2km from Petrovac. The main draw is the beach — a long, wide stretch of sand and fine pebble that's significantly less crowded than the Budva beaches in summer. The village is quiet, without the nightlife or resort infrastructure of Budva.
A small stream flows into the sea at Buljarica, creating a marshy area behind the beach that attracts birds. The beach itself is backed by the lower slopes of the mountains, with olive groves above and the 14th-century Gradište Monastery on the hill behind.
Buljarica is good for a day trip from Budva or as a base if you want a quieter coast experience close to the main resort area. There are a few small restaurants and apartment rentals, but accommodation options are limited compared to Budva or Petrovac.
