Buljarica's centrepiece is Buljarica Beach — at 2.5 km the longest beach in Montenegro, significantly less crowded than the nearby Budva beaches, and backed by olive groves rather than resort hotels. The Gradište Monastery sits on the hillside above the coast road: a 12th-century Orthodox complex with three churches, fresco-decorated interiors, and a real history of raids, fires, and reconstruction. The Režević Monastery, a few kilometres up the coast toward Petrovac, is another medieval church worth a short detour.
