Tivat's town beaches are convenient rather than spectacular: small pebbly stretches, concrete bathing platforms, and marina-side swimming spots. They are fine for a quick dip if you are staying in town.
For a proper beach day, head south toward Plavi Horizonti on the Luštica side. It has shallower water, more space, and a more relaxed family feel than the polished waterfront in town.
