Tivat Airport is just south of town and is the most convenient gateway to the Bay of Kotor. A taxi into the centre is quick; buses are cheaper but less useful if you arrive with luggage.
By road, Tivat sits between Kotor and the Luštica peninsula, with buses running to Kotor, Budva, Podgorica, and Herceg Novi. In summer, allow extra time: the bay road is beautiful, narrow, and easily clogged.
