Gornja Lastva sits above the coast on the lower slopes of Vrmac, an old village of stone houses, narrow lanes, and terraced views over the bay. It is one of the best short escapes from the marina side of Tivat.
Go late in the day if you can. The climb or taxi ride is rewarded by cooler air, church bells, and a view that makes the geometry of Boka easier to understand.
