Bijlmermuseum is not a museum in the usual sense, but a protected slice of the original 1960s Bijlmermeer plan in Amsterdam Zuidoost. The high-rise flats, raised metro line, and broad green spaces show the modernist urban vision that once defined the district.
It is a niche stop, but worthwhile if you are interested in architecture, planning, or the social history of post-war Amsterdam. The area is best visited on foot, with time to look at the scale of the buildings and the way later redevelopment changed the neighbourhood around them.
