Schiphol is one of Europe's main hubs with direct flights from almost everywhere. From the airport, trains to Central Station run every 10–15 minutes and take about 20 minutes. By train from the rest of Europe, Amsterdam is directly connected to Paris (Thalys, 3.5hrs), Brussels (2hrs), London (Eurostar via Brussels, 4hrs) and most German cities. Eurolines and Flixbus serve Amsterdam by coach from across Europe for the budget-conscious.
