A craft brewery housed in a former municipal bathhouse, right next to the De Gooyer windmill — one of the last remaining wooden windmills in Amsterdam. The combination of fresh beer and a 300-year-old windmill makes this one of the most atmospheric places to drink in the city.
The tasting room is small and usually packed, so most people drink on the terrace in front of the windmill. The beers are excellent — try the Columbus (a strong blond) or the Zatte (a Belgian-style tripel). Brewery tours run on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoons. No food served, but you can bring your own or grab something from the food trucks that sometimes park nearby. Open daily from 2pm.
