De Pijp's main north–south artery — a long street of cafes, restaurants, and independent shops running from the Heineken brewery site at its northern end down through the neighbourhood. More everyday than the tourist-facing parts of the centre: a barber, a hardware shop, a brown cafe, a Vietnamese place. The street gets livelier after dark, when the restaurants fill up.
