A peninsula of low-rise housing built in the late 1990s on former dockland, designed by West 8 architects. Three thousand dwellings, almost no two alike, on streets laid out along the water's edge. The architecture ranges from inventive to eccentric — the best urban residential design in the Netherlands from that period, and still worth the walk.
