Apeldoorn's nightlife is concentrated around two spots: the Caterplein at the southern end of the Hoofdstraat, and the Hoofdstraat itself. The square fills up on warm evenings with terrace drinkers, while the bars along the main street range from brown cafes to cocktail spots.
