Haarlem's towering Gothic church on the Grote Markt, famous for the extraordinary Christian Müller organ (1738) — a 30-metre baroque instrument that Mozart played at the age of ten, and Handel a few years later. Free recitals on Tuesday evenings from mid-May to mid-October, and additional concerts in July-August. Outside concert hours a small fee is charged to enter. Frans Hals is buried inside.
