Rotterdam's 185-metre observation tower was built for the 1960 Floriade and has been extended twice to keep its claim as the city's tallest structure. A revolving glass elevator -- the Space Cabin -- takes you from the restaurant level at 96 metres to the very top. On a clear day you can see as far as The Hague. Thrill-seekers can abseil down or spend the night in a suite at 100 metres.
