Safari Beekse Bergen is one of the Netherlands' major wildlife parks, set just outside Tilburg near Hilvarenbeek. Visitors move through large animal areas by car, bus, boat or on foot, which gives it a different rhythm from a standard city zoo.
The park is a strong family day trip from Tilburg and a good choice when you want open space rather than another museum or church. It needs several hours, and advance planning helps because the different safari routes do not all take the same amount of time.
