Franciscan Reformati Monastery

The Reformati Franciscan monastery sits on the slope below Three Crosses Hill, a quieter and less visited corner of town than the market square. The seventeenth-century church and cloister are simple, whitewashed and dignified, with a small ornate Baroque altarpiece inside.

A handful of monks still live and work here. The grounds, half hidden among orchards, are open during daylight hours, and there is a peaceful view over the town from the terrace. Worth a fifteen-minute detour on the walk between the market square and Three Crosses Hill.
