Armacao de Pera has a cluster of bars and cafes along the main pedestrian strip parallel to the beach. They are mostly casual places serving local beer, sangria, and standard cafe food. The beach bars that set up in summer are good for a cold drink after swimming. In the evenings things are livelier at the bars in the village centre.
