Armacao de Pera's main attractions are its beaches and the dramatic cave-riddled coastline stretching east toward Benagil. The Armacao Fort, ruins of an 18th-century defensive structure on the headland, is worth a short walk for the views over the bay. Several boat tour operators run excursions to the Benagil Cave and the sea grottos along the coast.
