Armacao de Pera is small enough to walk around entirely. The beach, village, and most restaurants are within a few minutes of each other. For day trips along the coast — particularly Benagil or Lagos — a rental car is helpful, though local taxis can also be hired. Local buses connect to Lagoa and Portimao.
