Faro Airport (FAO) is the nearest airport, about 40km east. Car rental is available at the airport and is the most convenient way to reach Armacao de Pera; the drive takes about 35 minutes on the A22 motorway. Buses from Faro serve the Algarve coast but are slower and less frequent. Lisbon Airport is about 250km north, a roughly 2.5-hour drive.
