A long-standing seafood restaurant just off the main square. The cataplana — a copper-pot fish and shellfish stew, the signature dish of the Algarve — is the order to make, and at O Tarro it is generally excellent.
Service is friendly without rushing you. Prices are mid-range for the resort but the cataplana is one of the best in town.
