One of Europe's largest aquariums, built as the centrepiece of Expo 98 in the Parque das Nações district. The central tank holds 7 million litres and is surrounded by four ocean habitat tanks representing the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian, and Antarctic environments. Sharks, rays, sunfish, and sea otters are among the inhabitants. A worthwhile half-day for families and anyone interested in marine life.
