Aurora is one of the city's small craft breweries, with a taproom on Victor Babeș Street just south of Victory Square. The brewery makes around a dozen rotating beers, mostly in northern European styles — German lagers, Czech pilsners, English ales — and a few seasonal experiments.
The taproom has a long bar, wooden tables, and a small kitchen serving Banat sausages and pickles to go with the beer. The terrace on Victor Babeș is one of the better warm-evening spots in the centre. Service is informal; tasting flights of four small glasses are the standard introduction to the range.
