The Marine Station (Morskoy Vokzal) is a late-1950s passenger terminal in the working harbour, a low pale-blue building with a clock tower and a spire topped by a Soviet star. From here ferries still run irregularly along the Kola coast to villages without road access, and tour boats depart for short cruises around the bay.
The nuclear icebreaker Lenin is permanently moored just outside, and the surrounding quay gives a close-up view of the cranes, container ships, and naval auxiliaries that crowd the eastern shore of Kola Bay.
