The Church of the Christ Nativity is one of Suzdal's quieter 18th-century churches, built in 1775 as a small winter church beside the larger summer Church of St Nicholas. Its low, domestic-looking body can almost pass for a house until you notice the cupola.
It is not one of Suzdal's headline monuments, but it fits the town's charm: modest whitewashed churches, short walks, and sudden views that make the whole place feel like an open-air museum.
