Coffee Mia is a small specialty coffee shop a few steps from the Main Square, a reliable stop for a properly made espresso or filter coffee in an area where tourist cafes dominate. The cafe uses single-origin beans and the baristas know what they're doing. Space is limited — a handful of stools at the bar and one or two tables — so it works better as a quick stop than a long sit.
The nearby streets have developed a small cluster of good independent cafes in the last few years, a sign of the growing specialty coffee culture in Bratislava. This is one of the best of them.
