The old town is tiny — you can walk across it in under fifteen minutes. All the main sights are within easy reach on foot from the main square. The one exception is the basilica on Mariánska Hora (Virgin Mary's Hill), a twenty-minute uphill walk north of the centre, with a Sunday afternoon service at 2pm.
