The hill just north of the old town, topped by a Neo-Gothic basilica dedicated to the Virgin Mary. It's a 20-minute walk from the square and offers good views back over the town and the surrounding Spis countryside. In early July it becomes the site of one of Slovakia's largest Catholic pilgrimages, drawing tens of thousands of worshippers. Outside of pilgrimage season it's a quiet, pleasant walk.
