Cerkev sv. Benedikta

Cerkev sv. Benedikta is a small church with roots in the 13th century, rebuilt in the 19th century and again after World War II. Its modern reconstruction is linked to architect Jože Plečnik through the work of his student Majda Neřima.

The church is most interesting for travellers who like Slovenia's quieter architectural sites. Look especially for the sacristy, often singled out as the most distinctive part of the postwar design.
