Museum of Fine Arts (Museo de Bellas Artes)

The Museum of Fine Arts occupies the upper floors of the Palace of Charles V inside the Alhambra complex — which means you can visit it with your Alhambra ticket or separately at a lower admission price. The collection focuses on Granada's artistic traditions from the 15th through 20th centuries, with particular strength in Spanish Renaissance and Baroque religious painting. Several rooms are devoted to Alonso Cano, the 17th-century sculptor, architect, and painter who was Granada's most important artistic figure.

The setting is unusual: a Renaissance ring inside a Moorish palace, with views from the windows across the Alhambra grounds. Free for EU citizens on presentation of ID.
